The Valleyfair Live Entertainment team is seeking...

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM	Auditions: Actors and Hosts   Sign-in opens at 1:30 PM
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM	Dance Call: Dancers, Costumed Characters, and folks asked to stay from prior audition times   Sign-in opens at 2:30 PM   Prompt start at 3:00 PM

All applicants should bring a current resume, headshot, and complete list of availability from May-September. 

 

Singers
Please prepare 2 songs in contrasting styles (pop, rock, contemporary, musical theatre). No Acapella. Please bring your own music on a phone or other digital device, and ensure it is downloaded before you arrive. A dongle will be provided. No accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to stay for a dance combination.

Actors and Hosts
Please prepare 2 minutes of your best, family-friendly material.

Dancers and Costumed Characters
You will be taught a dance combination. Please wear appropriate attire and dance shoes. 

Musicians
Please prepare 2 contrasting styles (pop, rock, jazz,  country) accompanying yourself on your instrument. Instrumentalists who sing are a plus. Drummers are encouraged to bring minimal kit, and/or submit a full kit video virtually.

At the end of this form, you will be asked to provide links to your virtual audition video(s).

Please include the following in your audition video(s):

You may submit up to 2 video links.

Singers

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• 2 songs in contrasting styles (pop, rock, contemporary, musical theatre)
  • Utilize a backing track or live accompaniment (no acappella submissions)

Actors and Hosts

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• Approximately 2 minutes of your best, family-friendly material

Dancers and Costumed Characters

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• Performance of a 60 second, high-energy dance routine that best shows your skills and abilities
• Feel free to include any other styles of dance, special leaps, tricks, lifts, or turns you would like us to see

Musicians

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• 2 songs in contrasting styles on your instrument(s) of choice 
• You are welcome to include more songs if you would like to demonstrate singing-while-playing as well as instrument-only songs
