The Valleyfair Live Entertainment team is seeking...

• Strong, versatile singers trained in musical theatre and contemporary genres
• High-energy and versatile dancers with ability in many performance styles
• Energetic actors and hosts who love to interact with audiences
• Skilled musicians with great stage presence

Our fall season includes two Live Entertainment events, Tricks and Treats and ValleyScare! Each event includes its own set of shows. There is opportunity to learn TWO shows and perform in both events!

 

ValleyScare

Rehearsals begin: September 7

Shows Open: September 19

Shows Operate: Fridays and Saturdays, between the hours of 5pm and Midnight

Shows Close: October 31

 

Tricks and Treats

Rehearsals begin: September 14

Shows Open: September 26

Shows Operate: Saturdays and Sundays, between the hours of 9am and 6pm

Shows Close: November 1

At the end of this form, you will be asked to provide links to your virtual audition video(s).

Singers

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• 2 songs in contrasting styles (pop, rock, contemporary, musical theatre)
  • Utilize a backing track or live accompaniment (no acappella submissions)

Actors and Hosts

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• Approximately 2 minutes of your best, family-friendly material

Dancers

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• Performance of a 60 second, high-energy dance routine that best shows your skills and abilities
• Feel free to include any other styles of dance, special leaps, tricks, lifts, or turns you would like us to see

Musicians

• State your name, current city/state, and pronouns
• 2 songs in contrasting styles on your instrument(s) of choice 
• You are welcome to include more songs if you would like to demonstrate singing-while-playing as well as instrument-only songs
